Well… I’m not sure. It depends on what view you’re looking from. Some people are on birth control to regulate their periods or to clear up their face. Most people are on it to prevent pregnancy.
I guess the last view is the most controversial one. I’m not really sure how I feel about it. A lot of people think taking birth control is like playing God. It’s almost like we’re saying “Hey God! I’m going to take this pill and now I can’t get pregnant!” But honestly, I really don’t know. I don’t think it’s “wrong” to be cautious but I do believe that if God is going to let you get pregnant, it’s going to happen whether or not you’re on the pill so why take it anyway? Some people think it’s unethical because they think it’s considered abortion… but I don’t know much about that either.
Personally, when I am married, I’m not so sure I will take the pill. I don’t like the side effects and I am already weary about taking most medications. Every now and then I’ll take an Advil if my headache is more than I can take but I don’t like medication.
Anyway, get back to me in a couple of days so I can think about this some more. Haha. How about you just not have sex when you’re ovulating? No contraception and no preggo!
